Henry Aguirre

January 28, 1933 — January 12, 2016

Mr. Henry M. Aguirre was called home to our Heavenly Father on January 12, 2016. Henry was born in California on January 28, 1933. Originally from Placentia, CA, Henry served proudly in the Army’s 224th infantry during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged in 1952. After his service, Henry specialized in maintaining machinery and retired from Alpha Beta bakery as a master mechanist. Henry found pleasure in: painting, drawing, fishing, playing musical instruments, and using wood & metal materials to create arts & crafts. Upon his retirement, Henry and his wife (Mary Ann) moved from La Habra, CA to Arboles, CO, where he was able to fulfill his childhood dream of having his own land to farm. Nothing pleased him more than tilling the ground, planting seeds, and watching his garden mature. Henry was delighted by the many smiles from neighbors and friends when sharing his bountiful harvest. More importantly, Henry was most proud of his greatest achievement, watching his children grow from infancy to adulthood. Henry is survived by his wife Mary Ann and their children: Ronald Aguirre, Gilbert Aguirre, Arlene Heider, Marianne Vasquez and his grandchildren. Also Marlene Aguirre, Henry Jr. Aguirre and children from his former marriage. The family has elected to move Henry’s remains from Colorado to California where memorial services will be held.
