Angelina "Angel" Sharlese Archuleta

Dec 6, 2003 — Sep 10, 2026

Midland, Texas

Angelina Sharlese Archuleta, lovingly known as “Angel,” passed away tragically on September 10, 2026, in Midland, Texas, at just 22 years old. Her life was taken suddenly in a devastating collision involving a semi-truck hauling pipe.

Angelina was born on December 6, 2003, in Farmington, New Mexico, to Gabriel and Brenda Archuleta. Her family gave her the nickname “Angel” when she was a baby, and throughout every day of her life, she truly lived up to that name.

Angel had a beautiful and compassionate heart. She genuinely cared for others and made it a priority to lift people up during difficult times. She was a trusted shoulder to cry on and someone who offered comfort, encouragement, and understanding when others needed it most.

Angel was never afraid to speak her mind. She fiercely defended her beliefs and the people she loved. She was an old soul who possessed wisdom far beyond her years, often speaking with an understanding that left her family wondering how someone so young could know so much.

Extremely intelligent—sometimes too much for her own good—Angel was also remarkably witty and naturally funny. She had a special way of making everyone around her laugh. Often, she would begin laughing at her own joke before she could even reach the punchline. Her joyful, contagious laughter would have everyone laughing hysterically right along with her before they even knew what was so funny.

Angel was a brilliant light in the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Although her time in this world was far too short, she made a deep and lasting impact on every life she touched.

In Loving Memory of Angelina “Angel” Sharlese Archuleta

Her happy place was Mancos, Colorado, where her father grew up. She loved fishing, going to the drive-in to watch movies, and spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed attending concerts with her friends and seeing some of her favorite performers, including Melanie Martinez and Billie Eilish.

Angel was naturally and uniquely beautiful. She expressed her creativity through her distinctive eye makeup, often accented with jewels, her gothic fashion, and her tall platform boots. Her hair was frequently split-dyed in eccentric colors and accessorized with ribbons, bows, or barrettes that perfectly complemented her fun and unforgettable outfits. Her appearance reflected the same qualities she carried within her—boldness, originality, beauty, and a spirit entirely her own.

Angel leaves behind her loving parents, Gabriel and Brenda Archuleta; her three siblings, Giselle Archuleta, age 30, Xavier Archuleta, age 27, and Elana Archuleta, age 24; and her devoted partner of two years, Blake Scott.

She also leaves behind her beloved niece, Navi, age 4½, daughter of her sister Elana; her beloved nephew, Noen Grey, age 2½, son of her sister Giselle; and her beloved fur baby, Mister Kirby, a four-year-old Shih Tzu whom she adored, cared for, and loved like her son.

Angelina will be missed and loved beyond anything words could ever express. Her family will not say goodbye, but instead, “We will see you again in the next life.”

Angel, look after us until we are together again one sweet day. Until then, all we can do to make sense of this senseless tragedy is trust in the Lord with all our hearts. We know that you have gone home to be with Him for reasons only He understands. When we are reunited, perhaps we will finally understand why.

Until that day, your love, your laughter, your light, and your beautiful spirit will live forever in our hearts.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Angel.
