Arthur Martinez, 87,of Ignacio, Colorado, passed away April 30, 2024, at home, surrounded by family. He was born September 28, 1936. He worked as a truck driver and equipment operator all his life. He loved race cars. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife Irene Martinez, Son, Rick (Toni) Martinez, Daughter, Annette Martinez, brother, Joe (Alberta) Martinez, Grandchildren: Zach Martinez, Aaron (Corinna) Martinez and Shanda Gutierrez, Great-Grandchildren: Angelina and Jasmine Martinez, Jesse Gutierrez and Michael Atencio, Jr. A service will be held at 9:30 am Rosary, 10 am Mass, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Durango.
