Paul Beauregard

Paul Donald Beauregard, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Durango surrounded by loved ones on the evening of May 10th, 2019. Paul was born in Gardner, Massachusetts and was the son of Joseph Euclid and Marie Anne and the brother to Lorraine Rheault. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a teen and then graduated from Massachusetts State College with a degree in Education. He went to work for the Boy Scouts of America in 1966 and remained with them for 37 years until he retired. In 2011, Paul and his wife, Betty Ann moved to Durango after falling in love with the area. Paul loved to cook with his wife and they both also spent many hours doing volunteer work and serving as leaders at First Presbyterian Church. Paul is survived by Betty Ann, his wife of 32 years, his children Paul, Renee, Jill and Bret and grandchildren Colin, Christian, Hunter, Savannah, Dylan, Cameron and Bexsa. Visitation Wed., May 15th, 2019 2-4pm at Hood Mortuary, 1261 East Third Ave., Durango, CO 81301. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Mercy.
