James Brittain

James Duane Brittain 66, lovingly called “Jim,” passed away November 2, 2021, in his home in the town of Aztec, New Mexico. Jim was born in Napa California on the 16th day of May, 1955 to Sharon L. and Harland J. Brittain. He was the second oldest of 4 brothers; Steve, John, and Frank Brittain. Jim graduated from Bayfield High School in 1976. Soon after he married his ever loving wife and had two beautiful sons Louis Brittain (42) and Joey Brittain (33). Jim was survived by seven grandchildren; Dominique, Brea, Angelo, Noah, Miranda, Jake, Jaxon and many others that knew him as a grandfather. He was a hard working man no matter the task, from working on the railroad to cutting wood for the winter. Jim Brittain was a family man keeping his loved ones close always. Jim Brittain will be greatly missed by every soul that had the opportunity of meeting him. Jim’s life will be celebrated at Hood Mortuary on November 6th, 2021 at 10:00AM.
