Mr. Ray Lopez 84 of Ignacio, Colorado passed away Sunday January 11th surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born February 15th 1941 to Joe Celestino Lopez and Maria Catalina Lopez in Tiffany.

Ray was a Spec. 4 U.S. Army Veteran. He spent some years logging in the woods before finding his passion and niche being a heavy equipment operator and doing custom dirt work. Ray also spent his life farming as well as working 32 years in the oil field.

Ray is preceded in death by his brothers Joe Lopez, Ben V. Lopez, Rosalio E. Lopez, Benjamin R. Lopez and Art Lopez.

Ray is survived by his wife Lelia (Dee) Lopez, son Douglas Hanna, grandchildren Shea (Tom) Kenner, Alicia Hanna and Ryder Hanna, great grandchildren Calin George, Carter Rae and Lelia May, sister Theresa, nephews Alex (Trish) Lopez, Tom Ross, Nelson Ross, Dwain White and Mike White and many other nieces and nephews.

Ray was a loved member of the community known for his kind temperament and generosity and will be missed by many.
