Dean Richard Kennedy passed from this earthly life after a long fight with double pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) on December 29, 2023. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on January 25, 1945, to Richard Leroy Kennedy and Alberta Parkhurst and later moved with his family to Los Alamos, NM where he lived until his mid-30’s working as a Civil Engineer at the Los Alamos labs. He later realized his dream by retiring early and moving to Alison, Colorado with his wife and four children to build a beautiful home and ranch. He enjoyed fishing at Blanco Canyon and water skiing at Navajo Lake, hunting in the San Juan Mountains and camping with his family in a large white canvas tent.
