Dion Stuart Packer

Dion Stuart Packer passed away on December 12, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Dion was born March 30, 1966 in Safford, Arizona to Eva and Monty Packer. He was the oldest of three children. He had five children and five grandchildren as well as his collected kids - two and grandchildren - one. 

Over the years he held many different jobs ranging from building custom homes, antique clock repair and restoration, correctional officer, and the oil and gas industry. 

Dion was devoted to his family. Home and family was his favorite place his sanctuary. He was the best husband, father, GPa, son, brother and friend you could ask for. He lived for his family and friends, he loved them with his whole heart. He was always there for them however they needed him. He never met a stranger. 

Dion is survived by his wife Amy Packer. His children Amanda (Nicholas) Streeter, Rebekah Packer, Tyler (Shevonna) Packer, Newly Packer, Tylyn Packer, Ezra Gray, Angel (Tanner) Gray. His grandchildren Keegan, Arianne, Eden, Lillian, Oaklee, Ryica. His siblings Stephanie Packer and Daniel (Sheryl) Packer. Countless other close family members and friends. 

Dion was preceded in passing by both of his parents Eva and Monty Packer.
