Dolly R. Rose

Dolly R. Rose was born in Raton, New Mexico on March 11, 1936 and she went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2023. Her 87 years were filled with many adventures and friendships. She deeply loved her family and friends and was devoted to our savior Jesus. Dolly retired from Nevada Bell after 35 years of service. She then continued to work various jobs in the years to follow. She spent much of her time living between Durango, Colorado and Reno, Nevada, as she had family and friends in both cities. Dolly is survived by her daughters: Sabrina (Steve) Donkersgoed and Lori Ahmadi; grandsons: Kamrun (Jordan) Ahmadi and David Ahmadi; great grandson John, and many nieces and nephews. Dolly was preceded in death by her son Michael A. Rose, mother Anna Homan, brother Mike Korte, and sister Stella Lumpkin.

A Duel Memorial service for Dolly and her Son Michael will be held at Hood Mortuary Chapel in Durango on Friday, April 21st, 2023 at 2pm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Reno, Nevada.
