Elizabeth “Betty” Kincaid

July 24, 1945 - September 28, 2025

“Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Kincaid passed away at the Jubilee Home in Lloydminster, SK on September 28, 2025 at the age of 80.

She is survived by: her brother, Vandon Bell: sister, Connie (Len) Ginter, Aunt, Verna (Lloyd) Andrews; and numerous neices, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by: her loving husband, John McDonald and their dogs, including Penny; father, James Vandon Bell; mother, Mary Bell; brother, Miles Mannix, father, Albert Mannix; and second husband, Bill Kincaid.

Betty moved with John to the United States of America in the early 80's. They trucked together through most of the states and Betty was very proud of the extremely dangerous goods that they hauled for the U.S. government.

After John's passing, in her later years, she worked for over 20 years at Wal-Mart in Durango, Colorado enjoying her job and those she met. Betty's personality made it easy for her to get along with all she met and usually she had an interesting story to tell about her many adventures.

Betty had many friends in the United States. Beth McCoy played a huge role in helping her return to Canada so she could be with family. Betty returned once the planes started re-flying during covid times with assistance of the Denver Consulate and a social worker in Durango. Betty was able to have another 4 years and reunite with her family. She also made some new friends upon her return.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in Betty's return home and all that helped her once she arrived back in Canada. All of your supports are appreciated by Betty and her family.

As per Betty's wishes, no funeral will be held. A private family supper when it can be arranged, will be held at Montannas, the first place she was taken to for lunch when she arrived back to Canada.

Betty was a long-term member of The Salvation Army, loved her dogs and both her and John passed from cancer if any that wish to donate to a charity on behalf of.

Have a Pepsi for Betty!”
