Vernon Edward Ferrell died unexpectedly at the age of 35, in Durango, CO. Vern was born on June 25, 1986 to Melodie Tomford and Renn Ferrell in Durango, CO. After graduating from Durango High School, he started work in various trades throughout Durango, most notably being Durango Roofing, Hermosa Ironworks, 4 Corners Roofing, "The Mountain" and most recently he was the manager of the Lone Pine Mobile Park. His pride and joy in life however, was his family. He met the "Love of his life " in 2008, after their marriage in 2011 Vern and Anna were blessed with 4 children: Evelyn, Tristan and Jasmine with the 4th being due in June of 2022. Vern lived the Durango spirit fully and took great pride in sharing his hobbies and interests with his wife, children, family and friends: snowboarding, camping, fishing, gardening, hunting, and woodwork, to name just a few. Vern's smile, friendly and helping attitude touched the lives of so many, he will be missed beyond measure.
Vern was proceeded in death by his Grandparents; Jack and Bonnie Ferrell and Mother Melodie Addington (Tomford).
He is survived by his wife, children, father, and brothers Robert Chalfont and Rj Ferrell.
There will be a graveside burial service at Greenmount Cemetery on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 10am, followed by a reception for family and friends at James Kennedy's house, 290 Kirk Lane Durango, from 12pm to 3pm.
