Frances Packer, 94, of Durango, Colorado, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness. Born in Kansas, Frances spent most of her childhood in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, before her family relocated to California. It was there that she married her darling husband, Francis Edward "Ed" Packer, with whom she raised two children.

 In later years, she and Ed returned to Colorado to enjoy their retirement surrounded by the beauty of the Durango mountains. Frances found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially knitting and cherishing time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed.

 Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Deborah Fry and Michael Packer; her grandchildren, Thomas, Brian, and Mark Packer, and Gabriel and April Fry; as well as many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Frances lived a full, beautiful life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
