Gerald 'Jerry' Allen Loeb

It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Gerald Allen Loeb. He went by Jerry. Jerry was born on January 2nd, 1958 in San Diego, California to Gerald K. and Sue Ann Loeb. He climbed the ranks to Captain in the Army and we're so thankful for his service and sacrifices. He was a journalist, editor and an incredible author of nine books. 

Jerry passed away in his sleep at 2:00 am, on January 27th, 2024 after a very recent diagnosis of stage 4 small cell lung cancer. He spent the last eight days at the Mercy Hospice House, where he received extraordinary  tender loving care until his passing. He will be dearly missed by all the many lives he touched.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 5 months, Ann Crowe, father, Gerald K. Loeb, his two sisters, Rebecca A. Loeb and Julie A Stone, his brother, Allen Jay Loeb, and his daughter, son and grandson.
