Gloria Eloisa Cook

Our beloved mother, Gloria Eloisa Cook, passed away peacefully on September 17th, at the age of 86, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born in Durango, Colorado on February 10th, 1939.

She was a loving devoted mother of 3 girls and treasured her 5 grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 daughters; Deborah Emrick, Dannette Magedson, Stephanie Slark, and 5 grandchildren; Ashley Slark, James Michael Slark, Marissa Slark, Ariana Magedson, and Garrett Magedson. She was preceded by her husband Philip Cook, who passed in 2017.

She had many hobbies throughout her life; in high school she played the saxophone and the piano, she loved to sing and dance, and was dancing just a few weeks before she passed. She had a great love for horses and loved sharing childhood stories. Most of all she loved and cherished her grandkids & her family. We will always carry her memory in our hearts. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal." A private service will be held for the family in Durango, Colorado.
