Peggy Herrera

Peggy Arleene Herrera passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, at home. She was 83 years old. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 14, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at Hood Mortuary Chapel.

Peggy was born September 23,1934 in Durango, Colorado, to Albert and Arleene (LaLonde) Zink. She grew up in the Animas Valley and graduated from Durango High School in 1953. She married Joe T. Herrera July 3, 1954 in Gallup, New Mexico.

She is survived by her children Mary Jo Herrera, Margaret (Errol) Conklin, Martha Herrera, and Andrew (Jenẽ) Herrera; brother: James Zink; her grandchildren, Scott (Jessica) Conklin, Jessica (Jon) Hosey, Levi (Melissa) Conklin, Lindsey (Rich) Romero, Michelle (Kris) Gard, and JoePaul Herrera; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Liam, and Logan Conklin, Brooklyn Romero, and Kameron Gard; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe and her great grandson, Jacob Conklin.
