James Hooper

James Robert (Bob) Hooper was born February 13, 1930 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Ernest and Beulah (Thiemann) Hooper and passed away on June 10, 2022 in Ignacio, Colorado. Bob served his country in the Marines and the Army, and saw combat in both Korea and Vietnam. Bob enjoyed being a mechanic, hunting, and beautiful cars. He is predeceased by his wives, Dolores Twiford, Ann Hooper and Cheiko Elms and his siblings, John Hooper, Bill Hooper, and Sylvia Martin. He is survived by his son James Twiford; step daughter, Shirley Hawk; daughter Margaret Hooper and nephew and son of his heart, Tom Shonk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His ashes will be interred in the Colorado mountains, he loved so much.
There will be a service for Bob at a later date.
