Obituary for Michael A. Humbert
Michael (Big Mike) Humbert passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born February 2, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He married LaGay Bardin in Silverton, Colo., July 5, 2001.
Mike is survived by his wife, LaGay, and son, Brandon, of Durango; mother, Kathleen Burns, and father, Lance (Karen) Humbert, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and in-laws Dave and Pat Bardin of Durango. He is also survived by brothers and sisters: Ron (Kim) Humbert, Tammy (Bill) Etscheidt, Dawn (Chris) Pulford, Laurie (Mark) Roth, Scott (Karen) Prandy, Kalvin (Mary) Prandy and many nieces and nephews.
Mike worked in the construction industry. He was a true outdoorsman, enjoying camping, fishing and gardening.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012, in Solon, Iowa.
