James Jackson

On Friday July 30th we lost our father James Meadows Jackson at age 92. We believe he is at peace with our mother and his beloved wife of 56 years Aline Glasko Jackson, who passed away in 2007. He is survived by his 4 children and 6 grandchildren, as well as the countless lives he touched.
James grew up in southern California and raised his own family there until 1977 when he “retired” and relocated to the Durango area. Not the retiring type, he soon became an integral part of the fabric of Durango.
He gave his family the great gifts of a family home in the ranch that he built so lovingly and a hometown in this community that he left even more beautiful than he found it.
