James John Mollendor

Captain James John Christopher Mollendor "Moe"of Pagosa Springs passed from this life on May 28, 2024 after a courageous fight with lung cancer. Moe served this country in the United States Marine Corps, was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam Conflicts retiring from the Marine Corps in 1978. Moe owned the Alamo bar in Tacna Arizona. In 1995 Moe became a full-time Pagosa Springs resident. Moe was born in Denver, Colorado Sep. 28th 1931. Moe leaves behind his daughter Janette Golden, her husband Jason. granddaughter Amanda Detlefsen, Brother Melvin Mollendor (Diane) Preceded by Parents Adam and Marie Mollendor, Sister Marie St. Clair (Robert) he leaves behind so many more family and friends who will miss him terribly. Moe was laid to rest at Hilltop Cemetery in Pagosa Springs, CO with full Military Honors.
