Janeen Fern Shilaikis

Janeen was born in Montrose, CO. She graduated from Montrose High School in 1965.  Soon after, she married Jack Shilaikis and they moved to Durango, CO where they raised 4 children. Janeen was a homemaker and had a love for cooking, baking, and gardening. She had a passion for making homemade jellies. Janeen loved all animals, especially her dogs, Jocko, Dewey and Kenya. Janeen loved life and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Jack had a dune buggy that he built by hand and they both loved to 4 wheel in the San Juan mountains.

Janeen is survived by her Husband, Jack Shilaikis, Son, Robert Shilaikis, Son, Richard Shilaikis, and Daughter, Shauna Walcott, and numerous grand children and great grand children. She is preceded in death by Rickie Ochoa (Shilaikis).
