Joseph "Richard" Montoya

Joseph "Richard" Montoya passed away on August 11th 2025 at home. 

Richard was born in Durango Co, graduated from Durango High School. He was an Automotive Master Technician. He loved his Broncos, his family, and friends who became his family.

Son, dad, brother, uncle, loyal friend, dedicated employee and a great man who will be missed by many.

He is survived by his parents Joseph and Josie Montoya, partner Victoria Archuleta, children Anthony M Montoya, Joseph Z Montoya, Elizabeth F Montoya, and Isabella M Archuleta. Siblings Olivia Logsdon (Patrick) Condi Montoya (Corey) and Jessica Montoya. God daughter Sydney Montoya, 3 nieces and 3 nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Richard will be remembered for his kindness, willingness to help anybody, his love for the Broncos and his family, especially his children.
