Julie Lupita Dominguez

Julie Lupita Dominguez passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at home. She was 41 years old.

Julie was born January 7, 1982, to Moises Dominguez and Viola Mary (Olguin) Dominguez in Farmington, NM.  She attended school at Bluff View elementary and Farmington School District. She worked various places around both Farmington and Durango, including working for an arborist as a sawyer. Julie enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, baking, beading and crafts. Her joy in life was taking care of children at her home. She was also an avid hunter and fisher-woman. Julie had a wonderful sense of humor. She was close with her family and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by a son: Bob Dominguez; her father: Moises Dominguez, Sr.; a brother: Moises Dominguez, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Viola (Alvin) Dominguez; sister: Martha Dominguez; nephews: Armondo, Alonso and Arnesto Dominguez; sister-in-law: Calandra Castellano; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

A Memorial Mass and graveside interment will be announced for at a later date.
