Taylor Lau

d. August 28, 2021

On Saturday, August 28, 2021, a beautiful man left this earth too soon.
Taylor Jesse Lau was born October 12, 1988 in Durango, Colorado to Ernie and Kathleen Lau. His family spirit is carried on by his bride Lynnea and son Maddox, his brother Joshua (Amanda) Lau, his sister Lauryn (Kyle) McWhirter, his nieces Bailey, Selah and his nephew Judah.
Taylor had an infectious smile and a big personality. His greatest love was his family. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Taylor had a deep love for the outdoors and felt an emotional attachment to the rivers, mountains and lakes of the four corners. He loved playing baseball and talking football. He was an avid mountain biker, rafter, camper, skier and fly fisherman who had an affinity for story telling.
Taylor was always available to help family, friends and anyone he knew needed something. His passion for helping led him to pursue a nursing degree.
The outpouring of support and love from the community has been tangibly felt by his family in this deep time of grieving.
