Mark Eugene Lafferty

Mark Eugene Lafferty passed away in Durango on October 26, 2023, he was 70 years old.

Mark was born in Pasadena,California and grew up in the Santa Cruz area. Mark graduated in the top ten of his High School class in 1970 and then went to LeTourneau College. Mark married Jeanie Schultz in 1977 and moved to Durango several years later. Mark worked for Honeyville in Durango for a number of years. Mark enjoyed playing drums and raising goats.

Mark was preceded in death by his wife Jeanie, and parents Eugene and Wilma Lafferty.

Mark is survived by his brother Dave and wife Cheri; his nephew Jonathan; and his niece Lauren. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

A Celebration of Life was held on 11/01/2023 for friends and family. Any donations can be made in Mark’s name to Cross Bar X Youth Ranch in Durango.
