Matthew Charles Ferguson

Matthew “Matt” Charles Ferguson, 44, died March 29, 2026 in Loveland, CO. He was born September 16, 1981 in Tracy, California. He is home now with the Lord.

Matt was a people person and a natural salesman. As a young boy, he could be found selling rocks on the streets of Silverton during summer visits with family. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Fort Lewis College. He was a realtor at Keller Williams before recently leaving the Durango area to pursue sales on the front range. He truly had a passion for and enjoyed helping others find their way to home ownership.

Matt was preceded in death by his father Tom Ferguson and uncle Tom Galbraith. He is survived by his mother Nancy Galbraith, best friend Christie Schler, two sisters, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, cousins, a step mother, and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday June 27, 2026 at the Animas Alano Club, 2601 Junction Street Durango, CO 81301.

Matthew will be forever remembered for his warmth and kindness that reached those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Animas Alano Club.
