Maxine Wilson

Maxine Wilson was born in Silverton, Colorado, to Nando and Delia Giacomelli. She moved to Durango at a young age, where she later graduated from Durango High School. Soon after, she married the love of her life, Channing Elary Wilson.

Maxine lived a long and beautiful life, reaching the wonderful age of 96.

She is survived by her sons, Channing Wilson of Durango and Gerald Wilson (Debbie) of Loveland, Colorado; her grandchildren, Brady Wilson (Christy) of Phoenix, Arizona, Chandace Wilson Jeep (Jason Jeep) of Durango, and Jeremiah Wilson of Twin Falls, Idaho; and her great-grandchildren, Brooke Wilson, Robert Channing Wilson, Chandler Jeep, Jacey Jeep Popenhagen (Colin Popenhagen), and Landon Jeep.

Maxine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Channing Elary Wilson, and her brother, Charles Thomas.

Her family and friends will remember her warmth, strength, and the love she shared throughout her long and remarkable life.
