Molly Lujan

September 14, 1930 — June 3, 2024

Durango

Our grandma loved to walk everywhere until she couldn't walk anymore. She was onery and feisty with a funny sense of humor. She would tell you her opinion even if you didn't ask for it. She loved to play bingo and get her hair permed and her nails painted. She loved her snacks and she loved shoes. She would call everyday and ask about the weather and how our day was she would say "hello it's me Bugs Bunny, just checking in". We will miss that daily check in. She loved to watch the golden girls her favorite character was Rose. Our Grandma resided at Cottonwood Rehab in Durango where she was loved and well taken care of for her final years. She said she was going to dance again someday and now she is dancing in our Fathers House in Fields of Glory!

Molly is survived by Marla Castro (daughter), Joleen Bowling (John) (granddaughter), Melissa Mead (granddaughter) Erin Bates (granddaughter), Laura Lujan (granddaighter), Sara Lucero (granddaughter), Ladonna Alcon (granddaughter) Gene Lujan (grandson), Katelyn Kenworthy (Cory), (granddaughter), Mariah Castro (granddaughter), Louisa Romero (sister), Simona Martinez (sister), Johnny Lujan (brother) and several great grandchildren, Brielle Jean (great-great granddaughter), Madelynn Kenworthy (great-great granddaughter) and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Lupe Lujan, Gene Lujan (son), Lloyd Lujan (son), Anthony (Paul) Lujan (son), David (Joey) Lujan (grandson), Gilbert Lujan (brother), Amador Lujan (brother), Francis Sandoval (sister), Fortoso (Joe) Lujan, Mellie Lujan (brother), Joey Renee (great-great granddaughter) and several nieces, nephews, in laws and cousins.
