William "Bill" Noble passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 in Albuquerque, NM. He was 84 years old.
Bill was born August 23, 1934, to Clinton Noble and Phoebe McCaleb in Durango, Colorado. After serving in the U.S. Army, he returned to Durango and joined the Durango Police Department. During his 30 years of serving, he mentored many young kids. Bill then joined the railroad as chief of security and also served as a liaison officer for the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and Jeeping with family. After retirement, he and Annetta enjoyed taking their 5th wheel and ATV's to the mountains. Bill was a true pioneer of La Plata County and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife Annetta Noble of Bloomfield, NM; 4 children: Glenna Nix, Cheryl (John) Vogel, Douglas Noble and Tammy (Michael) Price; 5 stepchildren: Mark, Jason, Misty and Katherine McLaughlin and Elizabeth (Ed) Smith; sister: JoAnn deVries and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Juanita Noble, infant son, William, a granddaughter and 3 brothers.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hood Mortuary Chapel. Interment of cremains will follow the service at Greenmount Cemetery.
