Phillip Luther Scott

Phillip Luther Scott, 92, of Vallecito, Colorado, passed away December 19, 2025, at home. He was born June 25, 1933 in Alamagordo, NM. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sat., January 3, 2026 at Hood Mortuary Chapel, Durango. 

Phillip was a fireman for the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. He an Bonnie moved to Vallecito in 1981. He became a realtor in Vallecito.

He is survived by his wife, Bonita (Married Nov. 29, 1970) ; children: Jilene (Ryan) Vargas and David (Angie)Scott; grandchildren, Nicole and Rigel. He was preceded by his parents: Frank Scott and Myrtle Guilliams Longpre. Complete obituary coming soon
