Robert "Bob" Bell Burns

Bob was born on October 10, 1940 in Denver, Colorado to June Dillard. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones on January 6, 2025. Bob was raised in Colorado where he did so many things throughout his lifetime. He served in the U.S. Army for several years. When he was honorably discharged, he came to Durango, where he met his wife, Linda. They married shortly after dating on January 16th, 1965. Together they had two sons, Shaun and Ryan. Bob worked for the Durango Police department, then moved onto work for Pepsi Cola for 20 years. After retiring, he went to school to do Real Estate, which he did until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; mother, June; sisters, Tamara Koshak and Nancy Johnson.

Bob leaves behind his sons, Shaun (Heather) and Ryan (Amanda); grandchildren, Sierra Krueger (Jeffrey), Dakota Burns (BillieRose), Alyssa, and Rylan Burns; great grandchildren, Robin, Oaklynn, Lillianna Krueger (Sierra), and Taylinn and Kinsley (Dakota).
