Heather Grace Thompson Taylor (age 29) of Red Mesa, Colorado passed away on February 17, 2022 in a tragic car accident. Heather was born on January 12, 1993 to Eric and Janet Thompson in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Heather grew up in Vernal, Utah and graduated from Uintah High School in 2010. She attended nursing school at BYU-Idaho and graduated with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2016.

Heather met Brian Taylor in 2011 while attending institute classes in Vernal, Utah. Many people commented that Brian and Heather complemented each other very well. They were married on April 7, 2012 in the Vernal Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She became the mother to four children whom she loved deeply, Brexdon (8), Haddley (6), Kinzley (4), and Bennett (2).

Heather became a RN early in their marriage and worked as a home health nurse for many years. She also worked hard to build her Ruby Ribbon business and loved helping the women she associated with. She was a friend to all who knew her and was deeply loved.

Heather is preceded in death by her Grandpa Don Andrew Terry, Grandpa Willard Bleak & Grandma Alice May Thompson, Aunts Wendy Thompson Jelte and Grace Thompson.

Heather is survived by her husband Brian Taylor, her children, Brexdon (son), Haddley (daughter), Kinzley (daughter), Bennett (son), and Kyson Nixon (birth-son); Parents, Eric & Janet Thompson; siblings, Jordon Thompson (brother), Tiffany Sprosty (Sister), Devin Thompson (brother), Scott Thompson (brother), Amanda Thompson (sister), and their families; Parents-in-law, Trent & Linda Taylor; Julia Taylor Millar (sister-in-law), Kevin Taylor (brother-in-law), and their families and Grandparents, Maralene Terry, Carol Roundy, Norma Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday February 26, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Red Mesa Ward Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on February 26, 2022 10:00am also at the Red Mesa Ward Chapel, 6848 Highway 140, Hesperus, Colorado 81326. If you send flowers, please have them arrive at Hood Mortuary 1261 E. 3rd Ave. Durango, CO by 10:00am Friday morning.
