Terry Craig Andrus

May 25, 1952 — August 16, 2025

Terry Craig Andrus (Art) Born May 25, 1951 – Passed August 16, 2025, at 4:25 PM in Durango, Colorado where he spent his final chapter alongside his cherished friend and companion, Susan Boyd Brightman. Susan’s extraordinary care and unwavering support carried Terry through his brave journey with cancer.

Preceded in death by his parents, Niles J. Andrus and Constance Mae (Cox) Andrus, whose love and values shaped the remarkable man we knew. He is survived by his siblings: Chris, Lori, Brian (Sarah), Rory, Rob (Cheryl), Fran, and Rose along with several nieces and nephews.

Graduating from Park City High School in 1970, Terry was a standout athlete, active in both football and basketball. He continued his education at the University of Utah from 1970-75.

Terry’s professional journey began at Park City and Deer Valley Resorts, where he cultivated a deep connection to the mountain community. In 1990, he launched a custom home building business in Park City, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship. Upon retiring, he embraced gardening with enthusiasm—his green thumb and love for plants brought beauty and peace.

Terry was, at heart, a genuinely good man. His adventurous spirit found joy in skiing, hiking, and sailing—experiences that broadened his perspective and enriched his life. And you could often find him on the golf course, perfecting his slice.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Terry’s honor on Saturday October 4, 2025, 3-6 PM in Park City, Utah at Miners Hospital Community Center. We gather to mourn his passing, to rejoice in the life he lived and the many hearts he touched.
