Bonnie Sue (Landrum) Warlick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was 90 years old.
Bonnie was born on July 23, 1930 in Drumright, Oklahoma, to Robert Horace and Clara Etta (Spellman) Landrum. She grew up attending school and graduating from high school in Drumright, Oklahoma. On August 21, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald L. Warlick. They had two children, Kent and Kay.
She and Donald were partners in “Don’s Drive-In” in Drumright. In 1958, she and her family moved to
Rocky Ford, Colorado. Don and Bonnie retired and moved to Durango in 1990 to be close to family.
Bonnie was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and a Cub Scout den mother. She loved to play bridge, to go shopping, to watch any kind of sporting event with Don, and traveling throughout the southwestern United States.
Bonnie is survived by her children Kent (Ann Fox) Warlick, and Kay (Bruce) Mayer; her grandchildren, Luke Warlick, Max Warlick, and Andrea (Brandon) Ekeland; and great-granddaughters, Jaina and Morgan. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Don.
Graveside services are planned for a later date in Rocky Ford, Colorado
