Obituary for Richard Williamson

Richard was the second child of five born to Richard S. Williamson & Virginia Ronski in Ohio. Richard served his country for five years as a firefighter, serving in the United States Air Force in Texas, France, England & Germany. He married Marge Anderson and had three children and moved to Pueblo Colorado where he was a millright at the CF&I steel plant. They would later divorce and he moved to Cave Creek, Arizona. Richard then worked for The Magic Bird Art Gallery and the Town of Cave Creek. He retired to Ignacio, Colorado where he enjoyed fishing and outdoor activities. Richard was an expert billiard player, winning several National Championships at BCA tournaments. Richard was a member of the American Legion Post 34 of Arizona.
Richard lost his three year battle with brain cancer on June 3, 2016.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Threadgill (James) of Ignacio Colorado, Patricia Williamson (Dave Trueblood) of Pueblo West, Colorado, and BrotherThomas Williamson (Jurgen Becker) of Berlin Germany. Daughter, Terry Cumberledge (Matt) of Windham,Ohio, Grandsons, Isaac & Gabriel Cumberledge, Granddaughters, Josilyn & Elizabeth Cumberledge.
Predeceased by Sister, Virginia Cotter, Daughter, Reece Willis & Son, Richard Willis. Cremation will occur at Hood Mortuary, Durango, Colorado, Memorial Mass & Rosary to be announced at a future time at St. Ignatius of Ignacio, Colorado.
